Dr. Emily Zacharias, D.C.
Dr. Emily’s interest in Chiropractic stemmed from the experience of chronic back pain from sports-related injuries in her teenage years and beyond. A former competitive athlete, she understands the urgency that comes with injury prevention and recovery. Dr. Emily’s practice integrates an evidence-based approach with patient-centered outcomes, using a variety of techniques and keeping the patient’s quality of life as the focus, to get them back to the activities they enjoy.
Specializing in the treatment of musculoskeletal injuries, Dr. Emily uses a combination of joint manipulation/mobilization, soft-tissue therapy, and rehabilitative exercises to help patients recover stronger and experience lasting effects. Dr. Emily uses her extensive knowledge of the human body to educate each patient on their condition and give them tools to assist in their recovery, with the goal of effective future injury prevention.
In her spare time, Dr. Emily enjoys a good book, swimming, long walks, weight training, a laid-back round of golf, and many other outdoor endeavors. She enjoys learning new hobbies and spending time with loved ones.
“Having been under chiropractic care on and off for 21 years since rupturing my L5/S1 disc during a sporting event, I sought out care from my local chiropractic college clinic and was matched with Emily. Experiencing a recent relapse in back pain, the pain was always there. After my visit, I was shocked at the level of skill, knowledge, and professionalism Emily brought to her work. If only I had been treated like this over the years, I would have had a much better quality of health care. I would gladly have Emily as my chiropractor and would highly recommend her to anyone.”
